The firm is led by Loren Furman who has spent years advocating for individual businesses, trade associations, local governments, and state and local business organizations on a multitude of policy issues. Rarely is there a new law or rule introduced, so knowing the history of prior legislation or rules, while implementing effective messaging and coalitions are some of the tools we use to conquer a legislative or regulatory challenge.
Access
The firm thrives on cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders including legislators, state agency heads and staff, legislative staff, and gubernatorial staff. In addition to building relationships during the normal course of activities during a legislative session, we regularly serve as a resource to policy-makers during the interim months.
